PRODUCT DESIGN + LEADERSHIP · CHICAGO, IL
I make complex products clearer and help teams do their best work.
I’m a product designer and design leader with 20+ years of experience moving between strategy and craft: framing problems, mapping workflows, exploring concepts, shaping systems, and helping teams turn ambiguity into useful, measurable experiences.

WHAT I BRING
How I Work
01
Find clarity in complexity
I like messy product problems. I break down workflows, customer needs, system constraints, and business goals until the team has a shared understanding of what we’re actually solving.

04
Partner from problem to delivery
I work closely with Product and Engineering from early framing through execution. Design is most effective when it helps shape the problem—not when it arrives after the decisions have already been made.
02
Make ideas tangible
I use flows, diagrams, prototypes, workshops, and increasingly AI-assisted tools to get ideas out of conversations and into something teams can react to, test, and improve.

05
Connect craft to outcomes
Good design should create value people can feel and organizations can measure. I connect experience decisions to adoption, efficiency, customer outcomes, and business performance.
03
Think in systems
A screen rarely exists in isolation. I look across information architecture, workflows, design systems, accessibility, and the larger product ecosystem to create experiences that hold together at scale.
06
Make the people around me better
Leadership is still a core part of how I work. I mentor, critique, create clarity, and build environments where designers have both ownership and support. The goal isn’t to own all the work—it’s to raise the quality of the work around me.
